On September 8, 2025, Guangzhou Huiyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. announced the good news that three of its core products—the HYLPA-6210 (P) instant printing labeler, the HYGS1-200 GS1 medical device and pharmaceutical labeling and data collection device, and the HYBX-400 automatic labeling and data collection device—have successfully obtained EU CE certification, thereby securing a "pass" for entry into the EU and European Economic Area markets.
On September 8, 2025, Guangzhou Huiyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. announced the good news that three of its core products—the HYLPA-6210 (P) instant-printing labeling machine, the HYGS1-200 GS1 pharmaceutical and medical device layer collection and coding device, and the HYBX-400 automatic coding and data collection device—have successfully obtained EU CE certification, securing a “pass” for entry into the EU and European Economic Area markets. Taking this opportunity, Huiyi Intelligent has signed cooperation agreements with two well-known food processing companies in Southeast Asia, officially launching its international expansion strategy and taking its first step toward entering overseas markets.
CE certification is a mandatory certification standard set by the European Union covering product safety, health, environmental protection, and other aspects. Obtaining this certification means that the product meets the requirements of the EU’s “New Approach to Technical Harmonization and Standardization” directives and can circulate freely within the 27 EU member states as well as in European Economic Area countries such as Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. To achieve CE certification, Huiyi Intelligence rigorously controls every stage—from product design and raw material procurement to manufacturing and quality testing: In terms of electrical safety, the equipment uses electrical components that comply with EU standards and is equipped with safety devices such as overload protection and leakage protection; in terms of electromagnetic compatibility, the equipment’s circuit design has been optimized to minimize electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable operation even in complex electromagnetic environments; and in terms of environmental protection, environmentally friendly materials are selected, reducing noise and energy consumption during equipment operation, thereby meeting the requirements of the EU RoHS directive.
After six months of rigorous testing and review, all three devices have successfully obtained CE certification. Leveraging the advantages of GS1 standard coding technology—GS1 is a globally recognized standard for product coding and traceability widely adopted in industries such as food and pharmaceuticals—Huiyi Smart has swiftly entered the Southeast Asian market. The company has signed cooperation agreements with a major Thai food group and a Malaysian beverage manufacturer, providing them with smart coding equipment and traceability solutions to help local enterprises enhance their product traceability capabilities and meet international compliance requirements. According to the head of Huiyi Smart’s international business, obtaining CE certification marks an important milestone in the company’s globalization strategy. Moving forward, Huiyi Smart will continue to pursue international certifications for more products and expand into overseas markets including Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, enabling Chinese smart coding technology services to serve global customers.
