In the smart packaging traceability project developed for Domestic well-known pharmaceutical enterprise, our company successfully implemented a comprehensive multi-level coding and automated packaging integration solution. This solution uses a high-precision vision system to accurately code individual packaging units and collect relevant data. Additionally, it innovatively incorporates an automatic stacking mechanism that automatically completes intermediate-box packaging once the product reaches a preset quantity, significantly reducing the intensity of manual operations.
At the final stage of packaging, the system uses overhead industrial cameras to perform batch capture of the entire layer of products after manual packing, quickly establishing a complete association among “single box—middle box—carton,” thereby enabling seamless integration of product data and end-to-end traceability.
After the implementation of this project, Domestic well-known pharmaceutical enterprise successfully established a digital traceability system covering the entire pharmaceutical supply chain. While meeting regulatory requirements for drug supervision, the project boosted the efficiency of secondary packaging by 35% and maintained a data correlation accuracy rate consistently above 99.5%. This serves as a successful model for the intelligent transformation of traditional pharmaceutical companies.
